I am bak ... Saw couple of movies recently. First one is ZEHER which according to me was pathetic movie. I wasnt even able to see the entire movie. THough the actor looks good better than the last movie with mallika. Though the songs of the movie are just too good. I am a big fan of them. So it is day and night only - 'Agar tum mil jao' and 'Woh Lamhein'.
Million Dollar Baby also a good one. THe movie is an excellent piece of art portraying passion of people towards their goals. Clint's visiting of church shows the faith in god inspite of so many failures. Though i dont like boxing and other such violent sports but the movie shows the ups and downs of the life of a sportsperson. For one person's success there are dozens of failures. People who are disabled for their life and live rest of their lives on machines.
Watching the movie gave me such a positive attitude towards life. And brings back to mind Gandhi's Talisman which was there in all the school books and has always been my support whenever in doubt or sad.
Gandhi's Talisman :
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man [woman] whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him [her]. In other words, will it lead to swaraj [freedom] for the hungry and spiritually starving millions?

Seems you do dig into the psyche while watching a movie, Thats very nice, But I don't think gandhi's really a person to a quote...what those lines say is a twisted version of essence of bhagwad gita as well..if you happen to read it(somehow i think that ways), Swear I'm not raising any doubts abt your sincere efforts, was just a thought that came into my head and thought of scribbling it down. Gandhi wasn't a great person, we were fools. Nyways, Take care
